What is ISIGWEBO?

ISIGWEBO means "The Sentence" in isiXhosa. It is not just a platform — it is a reckoning. A public record of every broken promise, every ignored complaint, and every failure of leadership in South Africa.

We are building a database of accountability. Every report is a timestamp. Every day that passes without action is a mark against those who are meant to serve us. This is not about politics. This is about the people who have been forgotten.

Why it exists

South Africans are tired. Tired of potholes that never get fixed. Tired of water leaks that run for months. Tired of streetlights that stay broken while politicians cut ribbons on photo opportunities.

ISIGWEBO exists because silence is no longer acceptable. We have been ignored for too long. This is a weapon for the people — a tool to track, expose, and shame those who refuse to serve us. When they ignore you, we count. When they lie, we record. When they fail, we expose.

How it works

Every issue you report becomes a record. We track the date, the location, the description, and the photo. From that moment, the clock starts ticking. Every single day that passes without resolution is counted.

The world can see it. Your neighbours can see it. Journalists can see it. The government can see it. When the pressure builds, they have no choice but to act. When they finally fix it, we mark it resolved — but the record stays. The proof of their failure is permanent.

What you can do

You have more power than you think.

Every report is a vote for accountability. Every share is a demand for action.

The Reckoning

Every issue has a date. Every promise has a record. Every silence has a cost.

ISIGWEBO is not just a website. It is a movement. A refusal to be ignored. A demand for justice.

The account is due. And we are here to collect.
